We've stayed at Parkside twice now and plan to go back again in the next couple of weeks. This place is not only luxurious but its right downtown. You walk about one block before you reach the Inner Harbour. This hotel boasts a movie theatre where one can see a kid's movie earlier in the evening and an 'grown-up' movie around 8 or 9 in the evening. The movies shown are recent releases too. The hotel also has a gym all new equipment. Most places I've stayed at have either broken down equipment or very old equipment regardless of how new or fancy the hotel is. Above is a picture of the ensuite. Be aware that this particular floor plan (there are several floor plans) does not have a door between the ensuite and the bedroom but it is separate from the main living area.
See above comment. Thank goodness there are two bathrooms in this unit so you can have some privacy if necessary. The mattress was so comfy! At the foot of the bed there is a fireplace and flat screen tv on the wall. The closet was also a walk in.
Kitchen area. Behind the closed door is the other bathroom with a stand up shower.
The deck area is accessible from both the bedroom and dining area. The entire hotel is built using eco-friendly materials and it listed as a 'green' building. When local material was available it was used throughout the building. The building has reached "LEED Platinum Certification".
